‘Allowing it to Happen’
Dear Readers, Welcome to SC Musings, Blog 30
This Blog 30 carries the voices and images created by the participants of NG Sangam 2025 held on 8th & 9th February 2025 at Nitya Gurukula. A yearly event, NG Sangam is a confluence of NG members: trainees, well-wishers, workshop participants, interns and resources coming together for a transformational experience.
The 23 Sangam participants this year, immersed and engaged with the theme: Harmony & Balance captured in Figure 30.1.

Each one of the participants, from early 20’s to 60 plus, placed their trust in me, in the process and fellow participants. Each of them ‘allowed it to Happen’, and here are their experiences in their own words:
Sangam at NG is an emotion – to be experienced; difficult to express in words.
Everyone who has attended the program over the years would agree there is magic. I have been experiencing this from the first Sangam hosted in 2012.
Understanding, protection and compassion are key components at NG and Sangam – Its a space for me to be my vulnerable self, discarding the tough demeanor meant for the world.
Sangam is precious – days spent with Sashi and my fellow participants and the learning.
NG team has grown beautifully and every need of the participants are taken care of. Thank you team for everything that you do impeccably.
Thank you dearest Sashi for your guidance and blessings. Much indebted to you
Wishing everyone balance and harmony in their way forward.
Sangam is more than an event; it is a homecoming—a sacred space where commitment, safety, and boundless energy create an unbreakable bond with the program, the place, and its people. I now see more clearly why I feel so intricately connected here; it is where growth feels safe and transformation feels inevitable.
Through the lens of TA principles, I gained a deeper understanding of change—what is within my control, what I can manifest, and how collective blessings amplify personal breakthroughs. The interventions … were not just affirmations but powerful validations, propelling me forward on the path I am meant to walk. Witnessing her ability to shrink the weight of a problem with precision and clarity was awe-inspiring. This time, she unfolded it step by step, making the invisible, visible.
I walk away from Sangam with a renewed sense of purpose and a deep commitment—to the forms we learned, to the consolidation of my speech, thoughts, connection to my emotions and to embracing one meaningful change at a time.
Sangam was not just an experience. It was an alignment of the self, a resonance of energy, and a reaffirmation of thpath ahead. PA
*My Experience:*
NG Sangam 2025 ☀started with auspicious lighting of lamp, which filled my heart with divinity and set the expectation for a divine experience.
An exciting introduction of participants working in pairs made each one in the room so much familiar within a short span of time and I felt a powerful synergy of like minded people.✨
Discussions on disharmony disturbed me more than I expected. But working with the Holistic model, values and energy being bound gave a lot of cognitive clarity.
The next day, the Tai Chi movements, womb activity and creating a new self with the collective blessings of the group gave a lot of positivity. Again I felt energised.
Identifying the change I wanted to bring in my life brought my inner peace and harmony back !
As usual NG team’s warm support during the sessions and in every aspect of my stay there was heart warming.
Thank you Sashi ma’am and NG team for yet another exciting Sangam experience!
*My Experience of NG Sangam 2025 – Feeling connected*
Truly a privilege to be part of NG Sangam 2025, a transformative experience. The discussions and activities focused on fostering deeper internal and external connections, leading toward greater harmony and balance in life. From start to finish, the sessions provided valuable tools and insights that have allowed me to reconnect with myself on a profound level.
The emphasis on self-awareness and introspection was incredibly impactful during activities. Through guided practices and reflective exercises, I felt more in tune with my inner self, gaining clarity on my emotions, values, and life goals. This inner work helped me feel more grounded, bringing a sense of peace and clarity that has stayed with me beyond the workshop.
Additionally, the exploration of physical shift was equally enriching. I learned how to communicate more authentically and meaningfully with others, cultivating deeper relationships and a stronger sense of community. The integration of both internal and external work truly created a balanced approach to personal growth.
I walked away from NG Sangam 2025 feeling not only more connected to myself but also more connected to the people and world around me.
Thank you Sashi Mam, NG Team and fellow participants for creating such a supportive and enriching environment.
NG Sangam 2025 was more than just a workshop…it was a space for self-reflection, learning, and meaningful connections. Every session felt purposeful, helping me understand myself better while also strengthening my bond with others.
The activities encouraged me to slow down and truly listen to my thoughts and emotions. It was a chance to reconnect with myself, bringing clarity and a sense of inner peace. At the same time, the focus on open communication and shared experiences helped me connect with others in a genuine way, making the journey even more special.
I leave NG Sangam 2025 feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected to myself, to the people around me, and to the world. A heartfelt thank you to Sashi Ma’am, the NG team, and all the wonderful participants for creating such a warm and enriching space. ❤
I come to Sangam with a free and open mind .Knowing very well that Transformation will permeate into me consciously, sub consciously and unconsciously.
The learning that Harmony and Balance happens only when I am VERY AWARE AND CONSCIOUS with the DISHARMONY within me was an eye opener.
Today it is with a gladness that I release my painful situations and the persons.
The Womb visualization was a space and an opportunity to create a new, clear me. To go forward with an uncluttered mind.
The Sand Tray activity took me from the BEING state to the DOING state.
A strategy and a process emerged to reach my goals.
To give and receive collective blessings was the beginning of Harmony and Balance within self other and the Universe.
Yet another SANGAM of Beautiful people and Beautiful minds Gratitude to the NG team
My experience at Nitya Gurukula Sangam 2025 was truly transformative. It provided me with deep insights about myself, allowing me to explore my inner world with clarity and understanding. Through the sessions, I learned to recognize both harmony and disharmony within and around me, which helped me realign with my true self.
One of the most profound aspects of the Sangam was the safe space techniques, particularly womb visualization and sand play. These exercises enabled me to connect deeply with myself and my inner child, bringing forth a sense of healing and self-acceptance. The process was both emotional and empowering, helping me embrace parts of myself that I had long ignored or forgotten.
The Nitya Gurukula team played a crucial role in this journey. Their warmth, support, and guidance created an environment where I felt safe to express, reflect, and grow. I am thankful for Shanmugi akka and Dhanamma for the delicious food that they served with love.
I am deeply grateful to Sashi Ma’am for curating such a beautiful and profound space for introspection and transformation.
The memories and learnings from this Sangam will stay with me, guiding me on my path of self-discovery. ❤
Sangam – a meeting point. Not knowing what is in store and what the rendezvous is about, came together with people from all walks of life to experience what holds for me these two days.
Thinking harmony and balance is the same stepped into a new world learning the difference between the two and for regulating and refining, understood the need to explore myself. Gaining insight into my thought process helped to find balance and harmony with my internal and external world.
Thanks to all organisers and participants in the journey seeking my calling. Look forward for the next episode.
Participants of NG Sangam reached their goals as their narratives manifest by ‘allowing it to happen’.
However, it is important to choose mindfully and sensibly, what ‘we allow to happen’. My simple tenet is choose that which adds value to existence, relationships and growth.

Dear Reader,
Blog 30 is an attempt to capture the magic of NG Sangam to transform, elevate and uplift lives, in a non-violent, gentle and sustainable manner. The sand trays are participants creations, expressing their transformations.
We discovered that Harmony and Balance are possibilities even when we are pulled in different directions and levels.
In Blog 31, which I will be sending from Melbourne, Australia, we will look deeper into Harmony and Balance and further delve into ‘how to allow it to happen’.
